3D printing-
in this Assignment we were asked to produce a model that we would not be able to produce in other matters.
the idea of this irregular arced shape roof is trying to challenge the physics behind the Symmetric arc, without the need of supports.
the structure maybe is not as strong as a symmetric arc but can create an interesting space of movement, concealment and exposure.
due to technology, we are able to continue and challenge traditional concepts of physics in Architectual elements.

this task, was about a new command for Rhino ; panelling tools.
3 different components, in a disposition controlled thru grasshopper.
in my case, the 3D print of the components, based on two curves, didn't work as planned.
the PLA strings that you can see is due to an incorrect extrusion factor.
if the factor was smaller, which means the flow of PLA was less powerful, maybe the print would have come out a bit smoother.
